Catchy Dimensional Bulletin Boards
These type of bulletin board will be used throughout the year in my science class. These will remain up for at least six weeks before being changed. Catchy dimensional boards will set our class apart and focus on the specific assignments and TEKS we are covering. Students will be reminded to check "The Professor" for any instructions or goals to focus on.
Lab Safety
Everyone knows that laboratory safety is vital in the classroom. Rest assured there will always be at least one bulletin board in the classroom expressing the importance of lab safety. These lab safety boards will be changed periodically throughout the year in order to reiterate the necessity for safe lab practice.
The Scientific Method
The scientific method (or simply scientific method) is a body of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge. This will be the guide for learning in our science class. Students will be quizzed on this method at the beginning of the year. They may also be tested on the method later in the year for retention.
Motivational Bulletin Boards
My goal every year is to motivate my students to put forth their best efforts and to be the best student in my class as well as their other classes. Motivational boards will be at the front of the class for students to focus on throughout the class period.
