RULES, REWARDS, CONSEQUENCES AND PROCEDURES
RULES
1) LISTEN TO THE TEACHER
RATIONALE: In order for you to understand what I am asking you to do you must listen carefully when I give instructions.
2) RESPECT YOUR FELLOW CLASSMATES AND THEIR BELONGINGS
RATIONALE: Your classmates will enjoy your company and will be more willing to share with you when you respect them and their belongings.
3) KEEP YOUR DESK AND THE SPACE AROUND YOU CLEAN
RATIONALE: A clean desk and space helps you to stay organized.
4) RETURN TO YOUR SEAT PROMPTLY WHEN ASKED
RATIONALE:I have an exciting year planned for us this year! Therefore we must return to our seats promptly in order to start on the next activity!
5) EXCELLENCE FOR EVERY CHILD EVERY DAY!-Remember our school motto
RATIONALE: Our classroom rules are tied in with our school motto. If you live up to our school motto, success will be yours!
CONSEQUENCES
1) 1st VERBAL WARNING
2) 2nd WARNING- YOUR CLIP WILL BE MOVED TO THE YELLOW WARNING SPACE ON NAME BOARD
3) 3RD WARNING- YOUR NAME WILL BE MOVED TO THE RED WARNING SPACE ON THE NAME BOARD AND YOU WILL SIT OUT FOR RECESS
REWARDS
1) EAGLE COINS will be given to you after you complete each assignment.
2) You may cash in your EAGLE COINS for EAGLE BUCKS every Monday morning before going to the EAGLE BUCKS STORE
3) Your EAGLE BUCKS can be converted into GOLDEN EAGLE COINS and used in the EAGLE TREASURE CHEST for bigger prizes!
